This is a really cool sidewalk piano on the

playground at the children's hospital. It

plays notes as you walk across it and the

display lights up the notes as they are

played. It is quite large as you can see

from the picture!

Although dinosaurs are high on the

list of cool things, it was all just a little

too BIG for his little system to handle.

Baker extrordinaire and the fondant correspondant

My sis Kel, nurse and aspiring baker, made her first wedding

cake for a co-worker's daughter. Dad and I were the

invaluable assistants. This is the finished product. It turned

out pretty nice, and just what the bride ordered! I think

I may see a sugary sweet future here for Kel!

Out with the old, in with the new!

We've had lots of changes since the last post! Probably the

biggest change is that E started a brand new school! He loves

the shorter school days and he gets to ride the school

bus home too! Here's a good pic of E getting off his bus in

front of the house! He's been smiling about it all week!

We also discovered he has some wonky vision. Astigmatism in

both eyes and far-sightedness, so glasses were a must. We

had a slight mishap early on and were not sure if the wire frames

were gonna survive or not, but they made it through. On a good note,

he's worn his glasses every day this week at his new school

and even still had them on when he got home! Success!
